Scope
The purpose of this working group is to provide guidance and support to PRIMED investigators, Study Sites, and Working Groups on the selection, use, and discussion of population descriptors in PRIMED projects and manuscripts. Our recommendations align with the NASEM report on Using Population Descriptors in Genetics and Genomics Research. We do not recommend any single harmonization strategy for the entire consortium; instead we will work to assist PRIMED investigators in implementing the recommendations for specific analysis goals.
